Opponents of equality are petitioning
right now to ensure gay and transgender people will never have the same protections as other Kalamazoo residents.

They want to be able to fire someone, kick that person out of his/her home, or deny access to restaurants and other public accommodations just because a person is gay or transgender. Help us show the opponents of equality that we believe in an inclusive Kalamazoo!

Please sign this petition and send a message that Kalamazoo welcomes everyone who wants to do an honest day’s labor, treat others with respect, and live in a safe community.

The Kalamazoo Alliance for Equality (KAFE) is working hard to support the nondiscrimination ordinance unanimously passed by the Kalamazoo City Commission on June 29.
